Matt Gray and his Sutton United side are off to Wembley in April as they made it to the final of the EFL trophy. They will take on Rotherham on the 3rd April. Sutton United managed to defeat Wigan Athletic in the semi finals on penalties. Former Swindon Town player Will Randall scored just before the half hour. James McClean equalised ten minutes later. Sutton United won on penalties 7-6 with Louis John being the hero with the winning penalty after Tendayi Darikwa missed his in sudden death.
