Trust Board member Councilor Bazil Solomon is spending time in South Africa currently where he is working with many brilliant local and international teams to link Pietermaritzburg SA with Swindon UK.
The Key focus for this trip is to develop links for business, trade, education, policing and football, this project has been supported by the FA and TrustSTFC.
In his own words Bazil said:
I was at Pietermaritzburg City Hall with Football Coach Keith Williams of KB International Junior Sports Development & the Education Minister, KZNDOE Mec Mbali Frazer, School Sports program staff and primary school children. I also had the privilege of football games at Woodlands Sports centre with children of all SA heritages. The KwaZulu-Natal Department of Education collaborated with MTN 8 Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme in an effort to Revive School Sport
Bazil continued:
As the Chair of the FA Swindon and Wiltshire IAG & TrustSTFC Board Member, I am working to develop grassroots football teams based on inclusion locally and internationally with incredible colleagues.
It is great to put Pietermaritzburg SA & Swindon UK football on the map and the dream is for football to help unite people and football always wins
