A huge thank you to all fans who supported the “sustainable fixture” match against Grimsby on 30 September!
We had people catch the bus from all over Wiltshire, and many places in Oxfordshire too. The furthest walker came from Wroughton on the day.
It was a real success and we hope to repeat this in the spring for the fixture against AFC Wimbledon, on Saturday 13 April.
We are already beginning preparations as a club for Green Football Weekend in early February, and hope to update members and fans in the New Year with regards to the details.
You can already help Swindon Town rise up the Pledgeball Green League by pledging small behavioural changes at www.pledgeball.org/fixtures . We are doing well in the league so far so please check it out!
The Green Robins, a fan group that cares about green issues, will launch in January 2024. For further information please contact the Trust email at info@truststfc.com.
