As you may be aware, the Club published its Stakeholder Consultation for the redevelopment of the Don Rogers stand earlier today. If you missed it, you can find the 38 page document here.
The consultation follows last week’s notification to existing season ticket holders who currently sit in one of the areas impacted by this scheme.
The purpose of consultation is to give all stakeholders (supporters, sponsors, local community etc.) the opportunity to provide feedback to the Club on what they think of the proposals. Feedback can be everything from full support/objection, through to suggestions about things you’d like to see added or changed.
This is your opportunity to share your view.
At the end of the three-week consultation period (which starts today), all feedback will be shared with the Club and its architect to consider before they produce a final version which will be presented to the JV Board for their consent.
It is at that stage that the Trust membership vote will take place. We will be providing further details on the vote, what it means and how it will work nearer the time.
To be clear, the consultation process which starts today is not the membership vote.
The Club are running consultation sessions on 22nd and 23rd April in the Legends Lounge. Reservations are required and you can find the full details of how to attend on the Club’s website here.
TrustSTFC have been gathering questions from fans and will be providing answers to those we can, they can be seen here. There were also a lot of questions that only the Club can answer, we have compiled those and will be sending those on.
Once you have read through the proposals, there are two ways which you can provide your feedback:
- Fill out this simple online form. It will take no more than a few minutes and includes both tick box and free type answers;
- The same questions are available in paper format and will be available from the OSC table in the Legends Lounge before the next two home games
All feedback will be shared with the Club. We will also produce a summary which we will share with members and supporters.
Redevelopment of the County Ground’s newest stand, combined with the displacement of a large number of supporters will no doubt lead to passionate debate about its pros and cons. It is right that members and supporters provide their own uninfluenced opinion through the consultation process. With that in mind, the Trust Board will not publicly comment on the merits of the proposals until the end of the consultation period.
We hope that you will play your part in providing feedback on this significant development.
