Swindon Town Football Club and TrustSTFC are proud to be joining forces in support of Swindon Food Collective, a local charity dedicated to helping individuals and families in the area who are experiencing financial hardship and struggling to access enough food.

By uniting their efforts, the Club and the Trust aim to raise awareness and provide vital support to the charity’s mission of tackling food insecurity within the community. This partnership reflects a shared commitment to making a positive impact beyond the pitch, ensuring that those facing difficult times receive the assistance they need.

Trust Board members and volunteers will be manning a food collection point behind the Town End near the club shop between 1 and 3pm prior to our first home game of the season, Saturday 9 August against Cambridge United, in aid of the Swindon Food Collective.

The Swindon Food Collective is an independent charity that aims to help people in the surrounding area who are suffering from financial hardship and finding it difficult to provide food for themselves, their families, or dependents. Now more than ever, it is a crucial resource for the community, and we at the Trust would like to welcome those who can to help out others less fortunate. Any donations, no matter how small, will be welcome. We hope to be able to offer a match-day drop-off point at more games to come this season.

Should you wish to donate but can’t make it on the 9 August, there is an ongoing food collection point in the reception at the Nigel Eady County Ground, if you are close to SN1 and want to contribute during office hours. We understand that times are hard for a lot of people, but if you are able and would like to donate, Swindon Food Collective has a list of items they are always in need of:

  • Tinned fish
  • Tinned fruit
  • Tinned meat
  • Tinned vegetables
  • Tinned potatoes
  • Tinned puddings
  • Pasta / Curry Sauce – packets or jars
  • Biscuits
  • Toiletries
  • Household Products

All donations are greatly appreciated and will help make life a little easier for someone in need. If you would like to help support and volunteer on the 9 August, please reach out to TrustSTFC via email here.
