We are coming into the final three games of the League Two season, it is the final midweek fixture under the lights as Swindon Town take on league leaders Forest Green Rovers.
Swindon Town do have a final home game against Barrow on Saturday afternoon before rounding the season out away at Walsall. They are all must win games as the club still harbours aspirations of the play offs, the gap has now been cut to two points and with a game in hand. Swindon Town are still looking in from the outside.
Saturday win away at Hartlepool was crucial and gave the club hope in the play off hope. Harry McKirdy with a brace and Mathieu Baudry with his first goal of the season gave Swindon a twelfth away win of the season. Swindon Town top the league two away form this season with forty points from twenty-two games. They are three points ahead of Forest Green Rovers who have thirty-seven points from twenty-one. But the Achilles heel this season is the home form, Swindon have picked up twenty-eight points from twenty-one home games, seven wins, seven draws and seven defeats. At least its consistent That is seventeenth best in the division, it is a stark comparison on the excellent away form to the poor home form this season.
Ben Garner confirmed in his pre-match press conference that Jojo Wollacott did light training yesterday and will be stepped up today. An un-named player had a sore knee from Saturday, had a scan and there was no damage. Both players could be available for the game against Forest Green Rovers.

Forest Green Rovers are the visitors for this crucial game for the home side, Rob Edwards side achieved promotion to league one on Saturday afternoon with a goalless draw at Bristol Rovers. Three points ahead of Exeter City who are close to promotion.
Forest Green Rovers form in the last seven games has been impressive, they faltered with a winless run of seven games from early February to late March. The run of form picked up in late March and early April with three 1-0 wins in a row over Colchester United, Scunthorpe and Mansfield.
A 1-1 home draw to Hartlepool United followed, but on Easter Friday was one of the shock results of the season. A 4-0 away loss at Barrow which had implications at both the top and bottom of the table. A 2-0 home win over Oldham Athletic on Easter Monday took the home side closer to promotion and sunk the visitors to one step closer to relegation out of the EFL which did happen on Saturday afternoon in farcical scenes. On Saturday at the Memorial Stadium, Forest Green Rovers got the point and achieved promotion out of the league and will be looking to clinch the title in the next three games.
