The Trust would like to thank Anthony and Anabela at the club for taking the time this week to talk through the financial ledgers and environment of STFC. It should be recognised that this is the first time that the Trust or any other supporters group has been given such access to the books of STFC and it is rare to see this throughout the footballing world.
All the information requested prior to the meeting was presented and Anthony reaffirmed the club’s commitment to improving the information provided to fans, both financial and non-financial.
To this end, the club will be releasing its annual accounts in the next few months and along side this, with the help of the trust, intends to provide an executive summary to accompany their release.
Longer term the club, supported by the Trust, is also engaging with Fairgame, with the intention of developing a far more comprehensive annual report that both the club and fans can be proud of.
