Trust board members were delighted to be hosted at The County Ground recently to meet with representatives of the club and also Deborah Dilworth, the EFL Network Manager & Women’s Game Lead for the Football Supporters’ Association (FSA).
TrustSTFC Board Members Steve Mytton, Stuart Woolard, Rob Angus (STFC CEO) and Deborah Dilworth (FSA)
This was the first such occasion that the three organisations have ever met together. Another clear and positive step in club relations moving forward.
Steve Mytton (Chair), Stuart Woollard and Alex Pollock were in attendance from TrustSTFC, with Clem Morfuni and Rob Angus joining from STFC.
The FSA is the national, democratic, representative body for football supporters in England and Wales. The organisation are the leading advocates for supporter ownership, better fan engagement, cheaper ticket prices, the choice to stand at the match, protecting fan rights, good governance, diversity, and all types of supporter empowerment.
They have been hugely supportive of TrustSTFC over the years and offered vital assistance over the last 18 months when fans were experiencing serious issues with the previous owner.
Discussions at this meeting were around a range of topics, including; the recent change of ownership, ongoing transparency, our recently-published MoU, and how we can continue to engage with the FSA on an ongoing basis.
